The deal is now subject to agreeing with personal terms with the Spanish player and passing a medical, according to the club.

Real Madrid also confirmed the move, releasing a statement which read: “Real Madrid C.F. and Chelsea FC have reached an agreement regarding the transfer of Álvaro Morata, subject to the player completing his medical.
“The club wishes to express its thanks for the dedication, professionalism and exemplary conduct displayed by the player over the years, spanning his time in our academy right through to his spell as a member of the first-team squad."
The fee for the transfer is believed to be £75m with add-ons with the striker signing a five-year-contract.
Chelsea were in a dire in need of a striker after Antonio Conte's chose to sell last season's club top scorer Diego Costa. They were initially interested at the start of the transfer window, however, a hefty price tag from Real Madrid apparently made them look elsewhere.
Conte reportedly choose last season's Pl second top scorer Romelu Lukaku as his possible replacement, however, Manchester United made a last moment push for the striker and snatched the Everton striker from their nose.
And now with the lack of strikers in the market and Chelsea's unwillingness to match the high fees for Torino's Andrea Belotti and Dortmund's Piere Emerick Aubameyang, the search again led to Morata.
The deal will make Morata the most expensive Spanish player in history as it will better the £50m Chelsea paid to Liverpool for Fernando Torres in 2011.
Morata netted 20 times in 43 appearances for Real last season and helped Real to win La Liga and UCL. He was used largely behind first choice striker Karim Benzema, however, it now seems he did enough to convince the Premier giant to move for him.
The striker is currently in the United States with the rest of Real Madrid's first-team squad but will now fly to London for a medical to join his Chelsea team-mates in China as soon as possible.
