Neymar Injury: Will Brazilian star play against Mumbai City FC in AFC Champions League on November 6?
Brazilian star Neymar was in tears after suffering another knee injury while on national duty on Wednesday.
Neymar was playing for Brazil against Uruguay in the FIFA World Cup 2026 South American qualifiers, and suffered an injury during the match.

What happened to Neymar?
At the flag end of the first half, in the 44th minute, a Neymar run had a painful end as the player tripped and fell over. It was a challenge from Uruguay player Nicolas de la Cruz which stretched Neymar's leg and instantly the player was seen gasping in pain while holding his knee.
His teammates rushed to the star and he was stretchered off in the match. The 31-year-old was seen crying while being carried off the field, suggesting he thinks the injury may well be a major one.
Although severity of his latest injury is still unknown, it will be a massive setback for the former Barcelona star. Neymar left the ground with a crutch and his left leg strapped.
Neymar was recently back in the field after a long injury lay-off since March. He had surgery on his ankle ligaments and just made his Al Hilal debut last month.
Al Hilal vs Mumbai City AFC Champions League
Al Hilal are set to play ISL team Mumbai City FC in the AFC Champions League on November 6. The crowd in India was much in anticipation to watch their favourite star Neymar in action in India.
Before that, the ISL club also travels to Saudi Arbaia to play Al Hilal in the first leg of their group stage match on October 23.
Will Neymar play against Mumbai City FC?
Neymar is definitely out for the October 23 clash in Saudi Arabia. The Brazil international's knee injury won't allow him to play in the next match for sure.
For the match on November 6 in India, it also looks a very slim possibility for Neymar to play. A knee injury is not something which will be recovering within three weeks. Also, Neymar couldn't walk after getting injured, which gives an indication of the damaging ramifications of his injury. So it does not look like the Brazilian will be fit when Al Hilal comes to play Mumbai City in India.
