Minister Joaquim elected Goa Football Association President

Panaji, July 16 (UNI) State Urban Development Minister Joaquim Alemao was re-elected as the president of Goa Football Association for the period 2007-11.

The GFA's Annual General Meeting also elected its new 16-member executive.

While six of these members belonged to Alemao's panel, the others were put up by its secretary Savio Messias.

Alemao, elected for the second term, had polled 103 votes while his rival Dr Rufino Mongeiro got 27 votes, yesterday.
