Manchester United close to snatching Renato Sanchez from Bayern Munich

Bengaluru, July 28: Manchester United may get a chance to sign Renato Sanches this summer as AC Milan are not appreciating the midfielder's loan fee.

Sanches wants to leave Bayern Munich during the current transfer window after getting frustrated at lack of playing time.

The Portugal international made only 17 Bundesliga appearances last season and he believes he can secure more action elsewhere, reports talksports.

It had been reported the 19-year-old would join AC Milan on a permanent transfer in a deal worth nearly £35m, but that is now off the table.

Instead Bayern want to loan out Sanches for a year and, according to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan have been put off by the fee demanded.

The Italian club are ready to pay around £1.3m to take the midfielder on loan for the season, but Bayern want a staggering £6.7m.

Manchester United could now snatch Sanches. Jose Mourinho is a big fan of the Portugal star and he may decide to bring him in for a year to provide reinforcements in midfield.
