'I can be the new Ronaldo,' winger Nani tells Man U fans

London, June 12 (ANI): Powerful and pacy Portuguese winger Luís Carlos Almeida da Cunha a.k.a.'Nani' has told Manchester United fans he can step into Cristiano Ronaldo's shoes.

The winger failed to make a major impact for United last season but is now praying boss Alex Ferguson will give him the chance to showcase his talents.

The Sun quoted Nani, as saying: "I can have more opportunities. Cristiano was very important but now I think I can show my value. Cristiano's departure is not impossible to fix." (ANI)
