Former Delhi footballer passes away
New Delhi, June 16 (UNI) Former Delhi striker Sultan Khan has died after prolonged illness here.
Khan, 51, was suffering from mouth cancer. He is survived by his wife and three children.
Khan started his career in 1970 and played for many of Delhi's reputed football clubs. He played junior national (under-19) for Dutta Ray Trophy in 1976 and was a member of the Delhi state team, which participated in Senior National for Santosh Trophy twice in the 80s.
