Luis Suarez bite controversy: Football fans take a dig at Suarez on Twitter

Bangalore, June 25: Uruguay's Luis Suarez grabbed eyeballs after he sunk his teeth in Italy's defender Giorgio Chiellini during a match between the two teams in Group D on Tuesday night at the ongoing FIFA World Cup.

Suarez, the hero of Uruguay's previous match against England, was clearly seen biting Girogio Chiellini's shoulder from the back and when the latter showed off the bite marks, the Uruguayan striker sat on the ground holding his teeth, trying to prove a point or two.

Uruguay defeated Italy 1-0 to advance to the knockout stage.

However this is not the first time that Suarez has bitten his opponents. Suarez was suspended for 10 games in April last year for biting an opponent during while playing for Liverpool. Earlier he was banned for seven games in 2010.
