Nyon (Switzerland), July 19: The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) fined Scottish team Rangers for their fans' behaviour during an Europa League qualifying match.
Rangers' fans threw objects onto the field during the first leg of the UEFA Europa League qualifying match against Progres Niederkorn of Luxembourg on June 29, reports Efe.

UEFA imposed a 7,000 euro ($8,100) fine on Rangers, which ended third last season in the Scottish Premiership.
The 54-time Scotland champion Rangers lost 1-2 in the aggregated result, after Progres Niederkorn defeated them 2-0 in the second leg.
