East Bengal win North and East Zone MUPC Qualifier

Chandigarh, Dec 16 (UNI) Last edition's runners-up East Bengal eked out a narrow 1-0 win over SBHS Football Academy of Punjab in the final of the Manchster United Premier Cup 2008 North and East Zone Qualifying Football Tournament (Under-15) here today.

The all-important goal was scored by Vishwajit Natta in the third minute.

Earlier in the morning, East Bengal got the better of Sarv Shiksha Abhiyan of Mizoram by a solitary goal in the first semi-finals with Vishwajit Natta scoring the all-important goal.

In the second semi-final, SBHS Football Academy prevailed over local St Stephen's Football Academy, Sector 45, by a lone goal.

The all-important goal was scored by Prabhjot Singh from a free-kick in the third minute.
