East Bengal, Mohd Sporting cautioned for late reporting

Ludhiana, Sep 5 (UNI) Kolkata giants East Bengal and Mohammaden Sporting were cautioned for not taking field on time after resumption in their Federation Cup match last night.

Both teams reported late by three minutes for the second session.

According to the rules and regulations, the break was for 15 minutes while East Bengal and Mohd Sporting came to the ground after 18 minutes. East Bengal beat Mohd Sporting 3-1 in the match played under floodlights at the Guru Nanak Stadium.

Besides warning, both the teams lost three valuable points for the Fair Play Trophy. Any further timing lapse would lead to imposition of financial penalty.
