Drogba wins African Footballer of Year award

ACCRA, March 1 (Reuters) Ivory Coast striker Didier Drogba was named African Footballer of the Year today.

Drogba finished ahead of Barcelona's Samuel Eto'o and his Chelsea team mate Michael Essien in the vote which was announced at the Confederation of African Football awards.
