Burnley Re-signs Jacob Bruun Larsen From Stuttgart To Strengthen Squad For Premier League Season
Burnley has secured the permanent signing of Jacob Bruun Larsen from Stuttgart, marking a return to Turf Moor for the Danish player. Bruun Larsen, who was on loan with Burnley during their last Premier League season, has agreed to a four-year contract. During his previous stint, he played 36 matches and scored seven goals, six of which were in the Premier League.
Last season, Bruun Larsen played 32 times for Stuttgart in the Bundesliga. Although he started only six games, he contributed three goals and three assists. Stuttgart finished ninth but secured a Europa League spot by winning the DFB-Pokal. "I'm so happy to be back," Bruun Larsen expressed on Burnley's official website. "It was an easy decision once I knew the club was interested."

The addition of Bruun Larsen marks Burnley's 10th signing this summer as they gear up for their 10th Premier League season under Scott Parker. The team has strengthened its attacking options with players like Loum Tchaouna, Marcus Edwards, and Jaidon Anthony joining the squad. Other new arrivals include Quilindschy Hartman, Bashir Humphreys, Zian Flemming, Max Weiss, Axel Tuanzebe, and Kyle Walker.
Burnley will kick off their 2025-26 Premier League campaign with an away match against Tottenham Hotspur on August 16. The club is optimistic about the upcoming season with its bolstered lineup.
Bruun Larsen's return is seen as a positive move for both him and Burnley. He expressed excitement about playing at Turf Moor again and reconnecting with fans in a few weeks. His previous experience with the club should help him integrate smoothly into Scott Parker's plans for the upcoming season.
