Blatter only candidate for FIFA presidency

ZURICH, Apr 2 (Reuters) FIFA president Sepp Blatter is the only candidate for the world governing body's presidential election to be held next month, it said today.

No other candidate had entered the race by the March 31 deadline, FIFA said on its Web site (www.fifa.com). The election is scheduled for May 31 at the FIFA Congress in Zurich.
