Birthday boy Klose named Man of the Match
MUNICH, June 9 Miroslav Klose crowned a 28th birthday to remember today when he scored twice in Germany's 4-2 win over Costa Rica in the opening match of the World Cup and was named Man of the Match by FIFA's Technical Study Group.
Striker Klose hit two close-range goals after 17 and 61 minutes, taking his tally to seven World Cup goals after netting five headers in the 2002 finals
