Bengal registers easy wins in men's, women's football

Guwahati, Feb 10 (UNI) Favourites West Bengal began their campaign in men's football competition in style with a convincing 3-0 win over Haryana in the 33rd National Games here today.

Bengal, which has a number of India internationals in their ranks, were hardly tested by Haryana as they secured the win with ease.

In women's section also, Bengal scored a facile 2-0 victory over arch rivals Kerala in the preliminary round here.
