Beckham says that he is happy to be playing for L.A. Galaxy

Los Angeles (US), Aug.1 (ANI): England football star David Beckham has insisted he is happy at L A Galaxy, despite a backlash from furious fans.

According to the Daily Express, the midfielder, who had to be restrained from lashing out at a man in the crowd just one week after a confrontation with spectators, maintained he has the support of everyone who matters at the Major League Soccer (MLS) club.

The 34-year-old, who has just returned from a five-month spell on loan with A C Milan, admitted clashes with jeering fans are a "distraction for me and the team."

He said: "The team have done well to deal with the situation and I've got the support of the players - that's the most important thing, to have the support of the team, owners and management. I'm happy to be playing for this team and I'm enjoying it." (ANI)
