Beckham back in Real Madrid squad

MADRID, Feb 9 (Reuters) David Beckham's extended spell on the sidelines at Real Madrid came to an end today when he was included in the squad for the side's league match at Real Sociedad.

Real coach Fabio Capello had said Beckham would never play for the Primera Liga side again after the former England captain announced that he would be joining MLS side LA Galaxy at the end of the season.

Beckham's last appearance for Real was when he came on as a substitute in their 2-0 defeat at Deportivo Coruna on Jan. 7 a few days before announcing he had signed a five-year deal with LA Galaxy.
