Ashley Cole is the most hated footballer in UK

London, Oct.15 : Ashley Cole has emerged as Britain's most hated footballer.

The Chelsea left back pipped Newcastle jailbird Joey Barton and Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo to the top spot in the Boo The Jury vote. Cole received 29 per cent of the vote, Barton 27 per cent and Ronaldo 24 per cent, The Sun reports.
