AIFF Super Cup 2025 Points Table: Where Do EB and MB Stand After Mohun Bagan vs Dempo in Group A?

As the AIFF Super Cup 2025 group stage nears its business end, both East Bengal and Mohun Bagan are in contention for a spot in the semi-final but the catch is only one can go through.

On Tuesday, 28 October 2025, East Bengal will faced Chennaiyin FC at 4:30 PM, while Mohun Bagan took on Dempo SC later in the evening at 7:30 PM, both matches being played in Goa.

East Bengal came back strongly in their match against Chennaiyin as they decimated the South Indian club by 4-0 to claim top spot in Group A. A brace from Bipin Singh and a goal a piece from Kevin Sibille and Hiroshi Ibusuki rounded off a brilliant day for the Red & Gold Brigade.

On the other hand, Mohun Bagan squandered a glorious chance to strengthen their position for the semi-final race as a spirited all-Indian Dempo side held the Mariners to a goalless draw. A match, which was utterly frustrating for the Kolkata Giants as they missed several chances to bury the game.

As a result, they will now head into the final match of the group stage, where they will go head-to-head with their bitter-rivals East Bengal, a virtual quarter-final, which will decide the fate of Group A.

The Red & Gold Brigade will hold the advantage due to a superior goal difference and a draw against MBSG will take them to the semis. For the Mariners, they need to log all three points to topple their rivals on Friday, 31st October.
