Yuvi, Kaif, Badri to lead teams in Challenger series

Bangalore, Oct 12 (UNI) Team India one-day vice captain Yuvraj Singh, S Badrinath and Mohd Kaif will lead India Blue, India Red and India Green teams respectively in the one-day Challenger Series for the NKP Salve trophy beginning in Cuttack from October 23.

BCCI Chief Selector Krishnamachari Srikkant today announced the three teams during the fourth day's play of the first Test between India and Australia.

Following are the teams: India blue: Yuvraj Singh (Capt), A Rahane, Robin Uthappa, Virat Kohli, Dinesh Karthik (Vice Capt and WK), Ravinder Singh, Irfan Pathan, Yogesh Takawale (WK), Ashok Dinda, P Sangwan, Amit Mishra, Arjun Yadav, Siddharth Trivedi and R Ashwin.

India Red: S Badrinath (Capt), M Vijay, F Fazal, Manoj Tiwari, Rohit Sharma (Vice Capt), Jaydev Shah, Abhishek Nayar, Wriddiman Saha (WK), Praveen Kumar, L Balaji, Piyush Chawla, Vinay Kumar, Monish Parmar and Parthiv Patel (WK).

India Green: Mohd. Kaif (Capt) Shikar Dhawan, Naman Ojha (WK), Suresh Raina (Vice capt), C Pujara, S S Tiwari, Yusuf Pathan, L R Shukla, Manpreet Goni, R P Singh, Pragyan Ojha, Rajat Bhatia, Abhinav Kumar (WK) and Pankaj Singh.
