Youth Congress organises yagya for Team India's win

Anand, Mar 17 (UNI) The district Youth Congress today organised a 'Vijay yagya' (prayer for victory) at the Gayitri temple in Petlad near here, to pray for the Indian team that began its World Cup campaign with a match against Bangladesh.

The yagya was attended by Borsad legislator Amit Chadwa and several Congress leaders. A crowd had gathered at the temple, that kept cheering for Team India.

''Our team is a balanced side and we really hope it comes back with the World Cup,'' said Mr Chadwa.
