In 2015 ODI WC, Kiwis lost their first match only in the final vs Australia
With four win in as many matches, New Zealand became the firs team to register a 100 per cent record in two consecutive World Cups---ODI and T20.
New Zealand also made their first-ever semifinal in the T20 World Cup this year
Last year, the Kiwis lost their first match of the tournament only in the final against trans-Tasman rivals Australia under the captaincy of Brendon McCullum who retired recently.

In 1992, Martin Crowe had led the Kiwis to a heroic World Cup performance
New Zealand also had a near-clear record in the 1992 World Cup, also played Down Under, as they went on to win seven consecutive matches in the round-robin league but lost to Pakistan twice, the second time in the semi-final.
Martin Crowe, who passed out earlier this month, had captained the side in that edition.
