Women's Big Bash League 2023: Full List of Award Winners, Prize Money, Records & Stats From WBBL 9th Edition
Adelaide Strikers defeated Brisbane Heat by 3 runs to lift their second successive Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) title on Saturday (December 2) at the Adelaide Oval in Adelaide.
Opting to bat first, Adelaide Strikers could only post 125/5 in their allotted 20 overs in the WBBL 2023 final. For Heat, Nicola Hancock was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3 for 23.

In reply, Heat lost in-form Grace Harris for 15 off 18 balls and also lost quick wickets at the half-way stage to make tough work of the run chase, eventually ending with 122/8 in their 20 overs.
For Strikers, Amanda Jade Wellington was the star with the ball as she ended with figures of 3 for 16 and bowled the crucial last over, in which she defended 11 runs. Tahlia McGrath and Megan Schutt also claimed two wickets each.
