Women cricket stars offer prayers at Srikalahasti

Srikalhasti, Nov 30 (UNI) Five Indian women cricket stars, who were selected for the Asia Women Cricket Selection Committee, offered worship to Lord Vayalingeswara Swamy here today.

The five central zone players, Sanja Agarwal, Anju, Poornima Rao, Reetu Mukherjee and Brunda, accompanied by former SAAP Chairman P R Mohan were received by temple officials.

After participating in the lakhs Kumkuma and Bilvapatra poojas inside the temple, the stars also offered workship to Lord Vayalingeswar Swamy.

They were honoured by temple priests and also presented with the Lord's photo and prasadams by the temple officials.
