New Delhi, Aug 29: Apart from relishing each other's company on the field, India cricketers are also having a gala time off it on their tour of Sri Lanka.

The latest video posted by India cricketers Shikhar Dhawan is a testimony to the fact that players leave no chance to chill out in the island nation when they are not on national duty.

Dhawan took his teammate Hardik Pandya for a joy ride in an auto-rickshaw on Sri Lankan road at midnight. Dhawan could be seen driving the auto while Hardik, sitting on the passenger's seat, was recording the entire journey.

Dhawan shared the video on his official Instagram handle and captioned it, "Daddy D di Auto Rickshaw Ride @hardikpandya93."

The video was uploaded on August 15, after Team India defeated Sri Lanka in the third Test and clinched yet another series. The Men In Blue defeated Lankan Tigers an innings and 171 runs in the third Test and registered their first clean sweep outside India.

Both Dhawan and Pandya have performed exceptionally well on the Sri Lankan tour. Dhawan, who was initially not part of the Test squad against Sri Lanka, slammed two centuries in three games.

The left-handed batsman continued his good form and slammed a century in the first ODI, followed by a half-century in the second. India have also won the ODI series against Sri Lanka as they thrashed Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the third ODI to take an unassailable 3-0 lead in the 5-match series.

Pandya, on the other hand, made his Test debut in Sri Lanka and went on scoring his maiden first-class ton in the third game he played. The Baroda all-rounder has been performing equally well with the ball too.

The ongoing series against Sri Lanka has proved to be a landmark series for both these cricketers.
