Warne desperate to sell his luxurious mansion for 10 m dollars
Sydney, Apr 30 (UNI) Keen to make a fresh start with his wife, ace leg spinner Shane Warne upped the ante to sell his luxurious mansion six-bedroom Middle Crescent home in Victoria for a cool 10 million dollars.
The Brighton property, which Warne shared with his former wife, Simone Callahan, and their three children, has been listed for sale this week with the multi-million price tag ''or nearest offer''.
Few common friends of the couple, now enjoying a reconciliation in England, say Warne and Simone are keen to make a new beginning and will sell the Crescent home, set on 2970 sq m of blue-ribbon real estate.
Besides, the six bedrooms, the mansion has four bathrooms, two studies, a wine cellar and flood-lit mod grass tennis courts.
In order to preserve the couple's privacy, especially from the media, the front of the famous bluestone Victorian home is missing from the enticing photos of the property listed on the real estate website.
His selling agent Jonathon Dixon confirmed that his company had just posted the discreet listing and prospective buyers would be screened closely.
''Next week we start showing qualified people through it,'' he said, adding ''We have several people interested.'' The house has been on the market for some time, but the couple has now upped the ante to sell the property.
However, his wife Simone won't be selling the stylish home she is building nearby, on land that cost her 2 million dollars.
According to reports, Warne is eyeing another property in the nearby area.
