Cricketer Virendar Sehwag lands himself in land mess
Chandigarh, Sept 28: Cricketer Virendar Sehwag has landed himself in a legal mess after he set up a '5' star school in Haryana instead of a sports academy.
Sehwag is also under focus for allegedly violating rules to get subsidised land in Haryana.
Politicians in the state questioned Sehwag's-Sehwag International School built in a small village in Haryana especially after the Hooda government helped the cricketer acquire the land by bending rules.
According to the land rules, Sehwag while seeking the land promised to render services at low cost. But it turned out that the school charged hefty fees proving that the purpose of allotment was being thwarted.
