Two young cricketer die in road mishap

Agartala, Apr 11 (UNI) Two aspiring young cricketers died in a road accident yesterday near Charilam on the Agartala Sabroom highway in Tripura's West district.

Police said the incident took place when a bus knocked down the duo, riding a bike, while overtaking them.

Both the boys were returning home after purchasing cricket equipment to participate in a match scheduled to be held later today against a local club of the Bishramganj area.

However, the driver of the bus managed to escape.
