WT20: Thundershowers lash Eden Gardens ahead of India-Pakistan game

Kolkata, March 19: Heavy thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds lashed Eden Gardens about two and a half hours before the scheduled start of the India-Pakistan World Twenty20 match here on Saturday.

The entire playing area was already covered, with the groundsmen sitting on the covers to ensure the wind did not blow them.
