Tech Mahindra, IBM, Cybage score onesided win at S1 IT Cricket Cup

Pune, Mar 27 (UNI) Tech Mahindra, IBM and Cybage teams notched up one sided victories in the Vascon- S1 IT Cricket Cup sponsored by S1 Corporation and co sponsored by Vascon today at the Nehru Stadium.

Tech Mahindra routed Hewlett Packard by 10 wickets; they first bowled out Hewlett Packard for 76 runs and then rattled the required runs in just 7.4 overs without losing wickets.

All round performance by Guruprasad Kapale saw IBM score a 48 run victory over Syntel. Kapale scored unbeaten 28 runs in their team's total of 156 and also took 3 wickets for 24 runs to bundle out Syntel for 108.

Aided by a swashbuckling 60 runs in 52 balls by M Vinayak, Cybage scored 133 runs or loss of 8 wickets, and then bundled out Persistent for 117 runs to score a close 17 run victory in their first league match.
