Teams reach Kochi for second ODI

Kochi, Sep 30 (UNI) The Indian and Australian team arrived here to a rousing reception by a Jet Airways flight from Bangalore today amidst the fear of rain playing spoil sport in the second ODI between the two sides on October.

The Bangalore ODI yesterday, the curtain raiser to the seven match series turned out to be a big disappointment for cricket lovers with rain washing out India's chase after the Aussies set them a target of 307 runs.

The teams arrived amidst very tight police security both at the airport and the hotel.

Young cricket vfans turned out in large numbers both at the airport which is situated about 20 km from this port city and at the Taj Malabar on the picturesque Wellinton Island where the teams were putting up.

At the hotel as many as 68 police personnel were deployed.
