Superat women's cricket in Farrukhabad

Lucknow, June 3 (UNI) The Superat Women's state cricket tournament will be held at Farrukhabad from June 8 to 13.

Giving this information, Uttar Pradesh Women's cricket Association secretary Mohammad Nawab said eight teams-- Lucknow, Kanpur, Firozabad, Farrukhabad, Basti, Jhansi, Meerut and Mau will participate in this championship, which will be played on knock out basis of 30 over a side.

He said the selection of Uttar Pradesh team would be made on the basis of the performance of the participation in this tournament and the selected team would participate in the Madhav Rao Sindhia trophy to be held at Gwalior from June 22.
