Sreesanth may not recover by second test

New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) It is almost certain now that the Indian team will have to take field without S Sreesanth in the second test against Pakistan to be played on November 30, after it was revealed that he has a cracked bone in his left shoulder.

Dr Anand Joshi, the BCCI's medical officer, said yesterday that Sreesanth will not be able to play in the second test match against Pakistan at Eden Gardens as his injury requires time to heal.

The maverick pace bowler, fell akwardly while fielding during the final one-day international at Jaipur and was ruled out for the first test match against Pakistan.

India earlier, were forced to recall Munaf Patel as India lost both Sreesanth and R P Singh to injuries during the recently concluded one-day series against Pakistan.

But there are possibilities that if doctors advice a surgery, then Sreesanth may have to face a lengthy rehabilitation period on the sidelines.
