Spin legend Shane Warne reveals his list of best batsmen
London, July 25: Australian spin legend Shane Warne has revealed the names of the "best batsmen" he bowled to, during his long and illustrious international cricket career.
At times Lara was better than Sachin: Warne
In a chat with "Sky Sports" TV channel, Warne picked the best batsman from 9 different countries. He said Sachin Tendulkar was the best batsman of his generation.
The Australian also mentioned India's Navjot Singh Sidhu, describing him as "one of the most violent players" of spin bowling. (Kohli captain of 'Current World Test XI')
"To me, he (Sachin Tendulkar) was the best batsman of my generation. A wonderful player, all round to fast bowlers, spinners and in all conditions. He was the best from India. Navjot Singh Sidhu was one of the most violent players of spin bowling and he used whack you all over the park. He was another good player from India. He was good against the spinners," Warne said.
