Shai Hope on Sunday, equalled Virat Kohli and Viv Richards' record for fastest 5000 ODIs runs with his unbeaten 109-run knock off just 83 balls against England at the North Sound Antigua.
The West Indies captain timed his innings to perfection and helped West Indies chase down a mammoth 326-run target in the first ODI of the three-match series. The innings from the 30-year-old consisted of seven sixes and four fours.

Each of Shai Hope, Virat Kohli and Viv Richards completed their 5000 ODI runs in 114 innings. Babar Azam is leading the chart and is followed by former South Africa star Hashim Amla. Babar Azam reached the landmark score in 97 innings, while Amla took 101 innings to complete 5000 ODI runs.
