Sehwag embarks on comeback trail with Twenty20 World Cup

Mumbai, Sep 10 (UNI) Swashbuckling opening batsman Virender Sehwag, who is on a comback trail, will rein in his natural aggressive insticts to see that he converts the starts into big innings as he re-enters the international cricket arena through the Twenty20 World Cup starting in South Africa from September 11.

Sehwag, along with four of his teammates, left for South Africa early this morning. India is placed in a group consisting of arch rivals Pakistan and minnows Scotland.

Speaking to reporters before leaving for South Africa, Sehwag said that he has been doing yoga training. ''I want to control my game and aggression during the match days and hopefully I will do well,'' he said before embarking on the flight.

Sehwag reiterated that he was going to perform well in the tournament which will conclude on September 24, and get back into the Indian one-day and Test side.

The Delhi batsman however, said that this tournament was not a make or break tourney for him. ''My job is to perform and the rest is up to the selectors. I am worried only about my performance.'' Sehwag along with Haryana's Joginder Sharma, Irfan and Yousuf Pathan of Baroda and Kerala pacer S Sreesanth, Cricket Manager Lalchand Rajput and Administrative Manager Sunil Dev departed for South Africa where they will be joined by the majority of the squad members who will fly in from England where they just finished a two-month long tour on Saturday.
