Sachin's experience will come handy in middle order: Azhar

New Delhi, Feb 27 (UNI) Former India skipper Mohd Azharuddin today said batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar and stylish southpaw Yuvraj Singh will have a crucial role to play in the middle order when in Men in Blue's kick start their campaign in the World Cup in the West Indies next month.

In the Capital to play a one-day match against Pakistan veterans, the Hyderabadi said while Sachin would have to play the role of sheet anchor, Yuvraj should provide the finishing touch.

''Sachin has such a vast experience that he can play at any down.

If the think tank want him to play at No 4, he should, and I am sure he would, come up with his best there.

''But it will be Yuvraj who is going to prove the most vital cog in the team's scheme of things. He has the ability to finish off irrespective of the asking rate,'' said Azhar who captained India in three world cups.
