Sachin, Yuvraj given week's time to reply to BCCI notices

Mumbai, Apr 10 (UNI) The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), which slapped notices on senior players Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh for speaking to the media, has given seven days time to the players to explain their stand.

''The notices, seeking an explanation, were sent yesterday and they have been asked to respond within seven days,'' a Board source said today.

The two players were pulled up by the Board's Working Committee for commenting on former coach Greg Chappell as this was in violation of the Board's Code of Conduct for its cricketers.

The show-cause notice has been issued under Rule 38 of the Memorandum and the Rules and Regulations of the BCCI.
