Sachin to lead Maharashtra in junior nationals

Pune, Jun 12 (UNI) Sachin Kamble of Pune will lead Maharashtra in the 34th junior national hockey championship which gets underway in Chennai from June 18 to 30.

Vijay Bandagle of Kolhapur will be his deputy.

Maharashtra Hockey Association (MHA) joint honorary secretary Ikram Khan while announcing the squad here today, said M B Shaikh will be the manager while Mr R B Makasare will be the coach.

The team: Sachin Kamble (Capt), Vijay Bandagle (Vice-Capt), Franklin Fernandes, Rakesh Mari, Shabir Shaikh, Amol Lokhare, Ajinkya Angir,Vijay Sathe, Ashish Bhosale, Sumit Asavare, Sandeep Sanas, Lakhan More, Rahu Lokhande, Ajay Chabookshwar, Rahul Rane, Suhas Sathe, Rohan Ghorpade, and Rakesh Chougule.
