Sachin, Saurav 'rested' for ODIs; Harbhajan, Irfan out

Mumbai, Apr 20 (UNI) In a bold move, top stars Sachin Tendulkar and Sourav Ganguly were ''rested'' while Harbhajan Singh, Irfan Pathan and Ajit Agarkar dropped from the Indian ODI squad announced today for next month's Bangladesh tour.

However, both Tendulkar and Sourav have been included in the Test squad while under fire Virender Sehwag managed to keep his place in the one-day squad but was dropped from the Test team.

Bengal batsman Manoj Tewari is the new face in the one-day team while left-arm spinner Rajesh Pawar gets a look in both the one-day and the Test teams, BCCI secretary Niranjan Shah announced.

Among the other new faces, Piyush Chawla found a place in the one-day squad, while V R V Singh made a comeback into the Test squad.
