RSS to Team India: Play with team spirit to win World Cup

Lucknow, Mar 11 (UNI) The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh has a piece of advice for Team India, currently in the Caribbeans to participate in the World Cup -- to play with team spirit if it wanted to succeed.

Talking to reporters here, RSS Sarkaryavaha Mohanrao Bhagwat, a sports enthusiast himself, said the men in blue should play with team spirit if it wanted to achieve big. ''It has to come over the little hurdles in way to achieve something big...the team should rise above personal gains and losses and play for India if it wanted to win,'' he replied to a poser.

Mr Bhagwat was interacting with the media on the last day of a three-day meet of Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha which began here last morning. It was attended by 1,000 RSS workers and 300 representatives of 42 organisations affiliated to RSS.
