RR IPL 2025 Full Squad: Rajasthan Royals are entering the IPL 2025 mega auction. As the IPL auction takes place in Saudi Arabia, the Royals will be looking to conjure up a strong squad.
The Rajasthan Royals, champions of IPL 2008, have been consistent contenders but are yet to replicate their inaugural triumph. In the IPL 2025 auction, Jofra Archer became the first signing for the Rajasthan Royals, who went on to pay a whopping Rs 12.50 crore for the England pacer.
Rajasthan Royals Retained Players
Rajasthan Royals, under their new head coach Rahul Dravid, retained a strong nucleus ahead of the auction. They will be captained by Sanju Samson, while India's brightest talent Yashasvi Jaiswal is also in their ranks. Indian youngsters Dhruv Jurel and Riyan Parag were also retained, while their solitary overseas retention is West Indies dasher Shimron Hetmyer.

Jofra Archer was the first buy for Rajasthan Royals, who waited long for their first piece of business in the mega event. Maheesh Theekshana was their second buy of the night as they roped him in for Rs 4.4 crore, followed by another Sri Lankan Wanindu Hasaranga.
