Rohit Sharma Trolls Kuldeep Yadav Over Eager DRS Appeals During Vizag Thriller: WATCH

The third ODI between India and South Africa in Visakhapatnam may have carried high stakes, but that didn't stop a slice of humour from unfolding on the field. A light and entertaining moment between Rohit Sharma and Kuldeep Yadav quickly became the highlight of the day, with fans circulating the clip widely across social media platforms.

The incident took place when Kuldeep was convinced he had trapped Lungi Ngidi plumb in front. Confident and fired up, the left-arm wrist-spinner immediately began urging the leadership group to opt for the Decision Review System (DRS).

What made the moment memorable was his dramatic appeal-hands folded, eyebrows raised, and near-pleading gestures as if requesting divine intervention rather than a review.

Rohit Sharma, famous for his calm expression and dry humour, wasn't easily convinced. Standing a few metres away, the star batter looked unfazed, flashed a knowing smile and declined the review. KL Rahul, captaining India in the match, agreed with Rohit's assessment, ignoring Kuldeep's enthusiastic insistence.

The playful dynamic between the two triggered laughter from teammates and fans alike. What made the moment even sweeter was Kuldeep's performance-he went on to star with the ball, finishing with four wickets and playing a key role in restricting South Africa.

Speaking at the mid-innings break, Kuldeep reflected on the moment with equal humour, admitting his judgement on reviews isn't the best.
"In DRS, I am someone who is very bad and he (Rohit) is someone who keeps pulling my leg all the time. But yeah, whenever I am bowling, if I try to hit the pad and if I succeed in that, I feel like every ball is a wicket," he said with a grin.

Earlier, Quinton de Kock smashed his 23rd ODI hundred to push South Africa to 270, but India wrestled control back through Kuldeep and pacer Prasidh Krishna, setting up an exciting finish to the decisive fixture.
