Rockey happy to be appointed Administrative manager of Team India

Vadodara, June 22 (UNI) Reacting to his appointment as Administrative Manager of Team India for the forthcoming three-test series against England, Rufus Rockey today said he was happy at the Board's decision.

Talking to UNI, Rockey, a senior member of the BCA managing committee, said he had received a communique to this effect from the BCCI and would join the touring Indian cricket team in England on July 4 for the three-test series beginning July 19.

He claimed the decision of BCCI was good for Baroda Cricket Association (BCA), which is considered one of the best managed cricket Associations in the country.

Rockey, who is posted as superintendent of Central Excise in Vadodara, had earlier served the Indian team as its liason officer during the ICC champions trophy last year and the recent home series against Sri Lanka.
