Ranji trophy plate group match rescheduled

Bhubaneswar, Jan 14 (UNI) The Ranji trophy plate group final match between Orissa and Himachal Pradesh has been rescheduled due to the one-Day International match between India and West Indies.

The match scheduled to be played at Barbati stadium in Cuttack from January 21 has now been postponed and would be held from January 28 to February 1, according to Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) sources.

The Barbati stadium would host the ODI between India and West Indies on January 24.

The BCCI had already communicated the postponement of the match to the Orissa Cricket Association and Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association.

Meanwhile, the OCA had decided not to make any changes in the Orissa squad which defeated Asom by seven wickets to enter into the Ranji trophy plate group final.
