Possibility of rain in final ODI
Chittagong, May 14 (UNI) The final ODI between India and Bangladesh is in uncertainity as constant rains have hit the port city of Chittagong since last night.
The Meterologial Department sources said, ''The weather forecast for the next 24 hours predicted squalls with spells of heavy rain.'' If the weather continues to be this bad there is every chance of a truncated match or delayed start tomorrow.
The rain God has been chasing the two teams throughout the tournament as it rained before both the matches in Dhaka forcing them to be truncated by three and one over respectively.
However, the disadvantage of this stadium is that the ground is very near to the sea and is affected by the rain bearing wind.
Moreover, the soil and sub-soil used in the ground is clayey which makes fast drying up impossible.
