Ponting becomes brand ambassador for Valvoline

Mumbai, Oct 16 (UNI) Australian captain Ricky Ponting has become the brand ambassador for Valvoline's range of motorbike engine oil and lubricants.

Speaking to the press here yesterday, Ponting said, ''I have always associated myself with the best, hence the association with Valvoline.'' ''Valvoline has always supported sports around the world,'' Valvoline Cummins Managing Director Naveen Gupta added.

Valvoline Cummins, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cummins India, entered the Indian market in 1998. Today it has 5-6 per cent of the automative lubricant market with 500 distributors and 2,000 institutional customers.

UNI
