Lord's victory: PM Modi congratulates cricket team

New Delhi, July 21: Prime minister Narendra Modi congratulated Indian cricket team on their Test match victory. " Well played Team India! Congrats on the wonderful victory at Lord's. We are very delighted & proud of the great performance," Modi tweeted from his official Twitter handle.

Its after 28 years Indian won a Test match at Lord's by beating England by 95 runs. With the win, India goes 1-0 up in the series.

Fast bowler Ishant Sharma took seven wickets to destroy the English line-up in the second Test match of the five-match series.
