PHOTOS: Team India, Australia reach Bengaluru for second Test
Bengaluru, Mar 1: Indian and Australian cricket teams arrived in Bengaluru on Tuesday (Feb 28) for the upcoming second Test match, starting Saturday (March 4).
Team India-led by skipper Virat Kohli and Steve Smith-led Australia will be locking horns at Bengaluru's iconic M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
Already 1-0 up in the four Test series, Australia would be eyeing to take a lead while India, under the leadership of Virat Kohli, would be eager to comeback strongly and level the series one all.
Australia defeated India by 333 runs in the first Test match in Pune on a rank turner Maharashtra Cricket Stadium pitch.
Team India's overall performance in Pune came under sharp criticism as the No. 1 ranked Test team was outclassed by Smith and Co in every department of the game.
India lost their first Test at home after a gap of 19 matches. It was also the hosts' first defeat under Kohli's leadership at home ground.
Kohli, who leads the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the IPL, would be eager to come back strongly against Australia at his 'second home'.
