A crowd of over 80,000 is expected to witness this Pool B game. India captain MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bat in this big Pool B encounter. India posted 307/7 and later bowled the opposition out for 177 for a 130-run easy win.
Ramjanam Raghunath, one of the Indian supporters, is at MCG and sent us these images from the ground.
As every cricket fan, he too was excited to be at the iconic ground, which will also host the final on March 29. And he wants to be there on that day too, hoping for India to lift the trophy again as they did 4 years ago in Mumbai.
